FLT DriverReports to: Distribution Supervisor & Goods In SupervisorDepot: LWC EastbourneMain DutiesReporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse & Distribution Manager, and Depot Manager, the FLT Driver will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This includes maintaining the warehouse, organising bin bay locations, and ensuring the correct storage of all products.This is a physically demanding role, involving regular manual handling. A key part of the position involves operating a forklift as part of the Goods In team, using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to unload lorries, replenish stock, pick orders, and check in deliveries from suppliers. Additional duties include maintaining yard housekeeping standards.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow best practices within the warehouse to ensure efficiency and safety.Accurately pick and place orders in the designated delivery locations.Monitor stock levels and report potential shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor or Managers.Ensure all new stock deliveries are promptly and correctly stored in the designated bin-bay locations, matching the delivery notes.Assist in monthly stock takes (including weekend shifts) and weekly stock audits.Complete required documentation, including:Out-of-date stock listsDamaged stock records (write-off sheets)Forklift and pedestrian truck logsAdhere to all health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety boots, gloves, and high-visibility vests.Prioritise workloads effectively to meet business needs.Maintain a flexible approach to work, assisting drivers as a mate when required.Skills & ExperienceStrong teamwork and communication skills.Good product knowledge or willingness to learn.Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.A Flexi FLT licence is an advantageAbout LWC Drinks LtdLWC Drinks Ltd supplies licensed establishments with a full range of bar and sundry products.
