Flexibility to work from home up to one day a week.
Hours: Full time, 35hrs per week. Would consider 4 days a week for the right candidate (very occasional evening and weekend work).
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum, subject to skills and experience.

We are pleased to be recruiting for the role of Chief Operating Officer. This is a new role within the charity and forms an integral part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), contributing to the strategic direction of the charity and leading some of its core business functions, namely human resources, finance, and commercial.
Responsibilities include:
* You will manage Coram’s Fields’ financial reporting and management systems, regularly reviewing policies, systems, and procedures to identify improvements and ensure robust and efficient processing and reporting on the charity’s financial position.
* Work with the Operations Officer to maximise existing and identify new opportunities for commercial revenue, including through Coram’s Fields café, park events, and facility hire. Driving commercial growth is a key part of the role.
* Responsible for developing and regularly reviewing Coram’s Fields’ HR policies, systems, and processes, working with the Office and HR Manager and service managers to ensure they remain relevant and that colleagues understand them and effectively implement them.
* Manage the Office and HR Manager, Finance Officer, Operations Officer, and Café Manager; providing strong leadership, direction, and support, through regular meetings, constructive feedback, and the review of progress against clear and achievable objectives.
* Be an integral part of the SMT. Along with the CEO, Buildings and Facilities Manager, and Fundraising Manager, you will develop the strategic plans for the charity and be collectively responsible for their successful delivery.
