Is situated in a modern setting in the centre of Derry City. They are seeking a dedicated Reservations Executive to join their team and ensure their customers have a seamless booking experience. This is a full-time permanent position. You will be working 40 hours each week and this will be between Monday and Sunday.

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to shine as a Reservations Executive! In your role, you will be the first point of contact for corporate and personal customers, ensuring their booking experience is seamless. Your responsibilities will include: monitoring all incoming reservations and correspondence, ensuring every request is handled promptly and in line with the company's high standards. You will manage all payments related to bookings with accuracy and integrity. Maintain the organisation's “Tone of Voice” and diction while answering phone calls, reflecting the culture and standards set by their team. You will be required to stay well-informed about the company's services and current packages to effectively manage client bookings and enquiries. In your role as Reservations Executive, you will build and maintain strong relationships with other departments, such as Reception, Accounts, and Sales, to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation. You will complete all administrative procedures accurately and in accordance with departmental guidelines, ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures are followed and kept up to date. Additionally, you will assist in training new teammates. You will handle customer comments, both compliments and complaints, and develop strategies to enhance service levels. As Reservations Executive, you will also provide administration support as required.
What you'll need to succeed
As Reservations Executive, you will have previous experience in a similar role within a hotel operation. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Demonstrated ability to use reservation systems and software. Experience in analysing reservation data and making recommendations to improve room occupancy and revenue.
