The Role: As an English Teacher at Teenage Kicks, you will: Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring lessons meet the diverse needs of our students. Teach a range of English skills, including literature, writing, and communication, fostering a love for reading and self-expression. Differentiate lessons to support students with SEND, EHCPs, or behavioural challenges, ensuring accessibility and engagement. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development. Encourage confidence and participation in literacy through creative and interactive learning methods. Support students’ emotional and social development, working closely with the SENDCo, Learning Mentors, and Pastoral Team. Who We’re Looking For: ?Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.?Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 & 4 (experience in alternative provision is an advantage).?Ability to differentiate lessons and support students with diverse learning needs.?Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.?A flexible and adaptable approach, with a focus on student well-being and academic success.?A passion for English and literacy, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
