This role will support the 710 Labs brand but will be employed by our New Jersey partner, Fresh Cannabis, LLC Come join us. Responsibilities include: Assist the Lab Director in the management of lab employees including but not limited to, supervising common tasks, tracking and holding accountable for performance metrics, assist in increasing overall awareness, skills, and performance of the team. Ability to oversee, understand, and perform all solventless extraction steps, as well as perform post processing steps. Ensure all employees are accurately and effectively executing General SOPs, Production SOPs, Storage SOPs, and Transferring SOPs without deviation. Understanding of how to perform and operate all lab machinery and how to create all the SKUs we produce Ensure extraction scheduled dictated by ownership and/or management are adhered to and achieved. Assist Lab Director with the allocations, batching and creation of production sheets. Assisting Lab Director to ensure all required paperwork is completed METRC Dynamics Google Sheets/Excel Production Sheets Ensuring that lab supplies remain in stock at all times. Tracking the fresh frozen intake from harvest, the organization of the freezers, and updating any outtake/usage. Keep highly accurate and detailed production records. Ensuring all product weights, containers, and jars are accounted for. Upkeep of all lab equipment regardless of level - employee, sub-contractor, or manufacturer- and working with management to get any equipment needing repair or maintenance completed, if it exceeds the employee level of maintenance. Oversee and regulate the gramming and distribution of R&D samples. Assist in any R&D projects dictated by ownership and/or management and adhere to the assigned methodologies without deviation and to completion, including but not limited to, the final collection and dissemination of all results. QA and Tier rating of all products produced by the lab. Maintaining a positive supportive role for the team in leading them to success. Leads, guides, and communicates to employees in a professional manner. Perform tasks such as pre-production, post-production tasks when needed. Provides training and development to new and existing employees. Assessment of product and production path it should take. Qualifications: 2 years prior experience in a cannabis manufacturing lab. Prior people management experience required. Excellent communication skills and leadership both verbally and through written media. Detail oriented with an eye on process improvement and optimization. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high-stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires. Must be comfortable working in cold environments (30-40F) for extended periods of time. For extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking through the workday. Experience in a production role that required time management and high standards for quality control. Experience solventless production - particularly processing of fresh frozen into water hash and various rosin products. Knowledge and ability to use & troubleshoot standard lab equipment and freeze dryers. Attention to detail. Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, METRC, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail. Skilled in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions, and implementing recommendations in support of company philosophies and goals. Be able to reach set goals within a given time frame. Efficient at repetitive tasks. Work well as part of a team.
