Team Leader – Children's Residential Home
Location: Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire
Salary: £39,021 p/a
Working Hours: Average of 37.3h per week (as per rota), with allocated admin hours as needed
Hourly Rate: £14.75 p/h
Number of Sleeps Required: Approx. 122 per year
Pay Per Sleep: £60 per sleep (Approx. £7,320 p/a)

Who We Are Looking For…
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader who is passionate about supporting young people with challenging behaviours and learning disabilities. You will be responsible for providing a safe, therapeutic, and nurturing environment, ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained. You must demonstrate leadership and strong organisational skills to manage shifts effectively and ensure the development of your team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing shifts and leading a team of support workers
2. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and Ofsted regulations
3. Updating placement plans, health needs, and risk assessments
4. Providing supervision and mentorship to staff
5. Ensuring the home environment is safe, clean, and homely
6. Liaising with external agencies, schools, and professionals
7. Participating in recruitment and onboarding of new staff
8. Covering on-call duties as required (£35 per on-call, approx. £3,027 p/a)
9. Additional care contact hours paid at £22.12 p/h
