Network and Infrastructure Solutions Architect
My client is looking for a Network and Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join them on an initial 12-month basis. As the Network and Infrastructure Solutions Architect, you will operate as part of a team of Solution Architects with the sole focus of supporting business programmes in achieving the digital transformation needed to meet their contractual and strategic objectives.
Role: Network and Infrastructure Solutions Architect
Pay: £30.00 - £49.40 per hour via Umbrella
Location: Stevenage or Bristol
Contract: 12 Months (possible extension)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week
Security Clearance: SC required to start & UK Eyes only project
Skillset/experience required:
1. Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end IT solutions that align with business goals.
2. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure they are aligned with IT infrastructure and system design.
3. Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and senior leaders to understand project requirements, business needs, and constraints.
4. Provide technical guidance and consulting during all stages of the project lifecycle, from initiation to implementation.
5. Ensure the designed solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
6. Lead and participate in the review of solution designs to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices.
7. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, advising on their potential application to improve business capabilities.
8. Continuously assess and optimise existing systems and architectures for better performance and efficiency.
9. Produce clear, concise, and thorough documentation for all designed architectures, models, and technical specifications.
10. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to senior management and key stakeholders.
Essential experience required:
1. Designing and Deploying a wide variety of Networking and Server Infrastructure.
2. Proficiency in designing and implementing large-scale IT infrastructures and enterprise solutions.
3. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Experience:
1. Familiarity with secured by design methodology.
2. Experience with NIST standards.
3. Familiarity with ITIL, Agile or Enterprise Architecture.
