A Day In The Life
1. Assemble a wide variety of products requiring a high amount of skill, experience, accuracy, and print reading:
1. assemble components used to make sub-assemblies
2. install panels, card racks and sub-assemblies
3. perform detailed wiring
4. cabinet layout and wiring based on diagrams, schematics and wire lists
5. operate power and hand tools including solder irons, crimpers, drivers, wrenches, pliers, cutters, wire wrap guns, etc.
2. Fabricate and modifies products:
1. printed circuit boards
2. wire wrap boards
3. panels and enclosures
3. Assure assemblies are complete and made to the drawing specifications.
4. Review, update and accurately complete all required documentation.
5. Other duties as assigned.
What will help you thrive in this role?
Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Two plus years of assembly experience and ability to follow written assembly procedures, assembly drawings, wire lists and wiring diagrams.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift 35 lbs.
* Requires good hand and eye coordination, finger dexterity, mobility
* Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
* Must be able to distinguish and identify different components/part colors
