We are now looking for an Admissions Manager to join our busy team in HIC on a 12 month fixed term contract. The Admissions Manager will have a significant impact on the future growth of student numbers at HIC and the successful candidate will play a key role in establishing the college's admissions function as a leader in customer service. The Admissions Manager will be required to role-model and instil the work ethic in others required to deliver a gold standard customer service for key stakeholder groups. The Admissions Manager will also be required to establish strong links with Hertfordshire University's admissions team members to ensure strong working relationships. The Admissions Manager will be responsible for managing and leading a core team of members of admissions staff plus additional temporary members of staff during peak periods of activity. Admissions Manager Duties: Review entry requirement (with Partner University) Receive new applications to study at Navitas colleges and assess for completeness Manage the issuance of offers to prospective students, and manage borderline cases to the College Interview students as required handle on the ground complex student and agent enquiries Develop excellent Partner University engagement with their admission and compliance teams Contribute, as necessary, to problem solving issues raised by agents support visa documentation and verification (with Partner University) Contribute, as necessary, to the alignment of system interaction As appropriate, provide visa information/sign-posting for students Lead CAS and visa issuance through the Partner University according to the various different processes and requirements of the Colleges and their partner universities As appropriate, engage with regulatory bodies Contribute to the creation and quality assurance of student records creation (data entry and comms) in Navigate and the University Record systems proactively seek missing information if required liaise with applicants and agents to collect the necessary documents to assist students in their visa application process Assess student's financial situation, in line with UKVI requirements Support the College teams in other student-related activities, such as enrolment and orientation activities Assist in the preparation of monthly reports on admissions issues and trends inclusive of recommendations Maintain confidentiality at all times regarding college information and student files Carrying out other duties that may be reasonably required Work with colleagues on process improvement tasks and projects as required. Admissions Manager Requirements: A good honours degree, or equivalent, or significant and relevant work experience Line management experience Experience of working in an international admissions education setting Proven ability as a team player Experience working towards and achieving targets The ability to influence others and negotiate change Flexible attitude to work including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of student and administrative activities Creative thinking processes Strong verbal and written English language communication skills Effective interpersonal skills, interacting with a variety of cultural and ethnic stakeholder groups, including senior staff within partner University Confident with Microsoft Office and creating reports St
