Location: This role could be based in our Edinburgh, Wythall or London offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

Salary and benefits: £85,000 - £110,000 plus 30% bonus up to 60%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.

The role:
As an IFRS Planning & Forecasting Senior Manager you will be responsible for the production of the Group’s IFRS forecast results over short term and long term horizons. You will apply your technical, commercial and business knowledge to support informed and effective decision making. The role will play a key part in ensuring that business strategy is set appropriately and monitored on an ongoing basis with robust challenge. You will report to the Director of Planning, Forecasting & Analysis and have significant opportunity for senior stakeholder engagement including with the Life Company Chief Financial Officer.
What are we looking for?
1. Qualified Actuary or Accountant with strong post qualification experience.
2. Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting and Life products, processes and reporting. Experience in planning and forecasting is desirable.
3. Experience of managing teams to deliver to tight timescales and adapt to changing requirements quickly.
4. Proven ability to adapt in an ever-changing financial services environment.
5. Good stakeholder management with the ability to build networks across the business and use these to ensure good delivery.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills having the ability to explain complex technical issues in a concise manner to senior audiences.
