Salary: 60,934 to 69,921 per annum

Brief Description
The Network Output Integration team provides expert advice to help ensure that future railway configuration states are complete and efficient without gaps, clashes, or mis-timings. We are currently supporting substantial investments across the Eastern Region and are seeking a Programme Integration Manager to carry out probing system analysis and advise on efficient investment strategies.
Key Accountabilities
1. Prepare and contribute to the maintenance of specifications and success criteria for the project/programme.
2. Contribute to the formulation of strategies to facilitate integration planning.
3. Develop interface plans consistent with other industry plans.
4. Specify and provide sponsorship for the development and delivery of a programme of change projects.
5. Plan and implement stage gate reviews for relevant projects.
6. Manage project requirements and propose solutions regarding cost, time, and scope.
7. Establish and support collaborative cross-functional and cross-industry teams.
8. Prepare regular progress reports on the programme of projects.
9. Forecast and maintain expenditure within agreed project budgets.
10. Prepare industry plans to demonstrate alignment of industry activities.
Essential Requirements
1. Experience of leading and managing the development and delivery of complex infrastructure programmes.
2. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
3. Knowledge of rail industry structure, regulation, and commercial framework.
4. Experience of negotiating with internal and external stakeholders at senior level.
5. Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
Desirable Requirements
1. Experience in the design and integration of complex engineering and/or operational systems.
2. An understanding of railway safety management systems and risk assessment techniques.
3. MBA or other related postgraduate qualification.
4. Member of recognised Railway Engineering or Operations institution, or Chartered Engineer.
5. Experience with software that supports presentation of information.
