Prison Lead Relationship Manager From £30,000 p/a depending on experience Full Time Hybrid work (we have offices in London and Manchester) ROLE OVERVIEW We’re looking for a Prison Lead Relationship Manager to join the existing Custodial team at Only A Pavement Away. As part of the Only A Pavement Away team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong relationships with prisons, custodial charities, and organisations across the UK while connecting prison leavers with hospitality employers, ensuring a seamless transition into employment. KEY RESPONSABILITIES 1) Establish, maintain and strengthen relationships with prisons and custodial charities and organisations in the UK Develop close, collaborative relationships with Prison Employment Leads and key custodial organisations supporting prison leavers. Act as the first point of contact for custodial organisations, ensuring that all partners understand and embrace the work of Only A Pavement Away. Oversee a smooth onboarding process for new organisations, ensuring induction training, CRM updates (Salesforce), and compliance. Ensure all procedures and processes are being adhered to whilst identifying any potential issues Organise and host monthly webinars, ensuring continuous improvement through feedback. Monitor and report on the prisons’ activity: applications, vacancies, interviews 2) Track progress of prison leaver candidates Manage all prison leaver candidates referred to the Only A Pavement Away online portal and keep track of their activity on our internal trackers Organise check in calls with candidates on release Organise disclosure calls for candidates with Flagged offence 3) Organise and attend prison visits and other events Identify and contact the most suitable prisons to host prison workshops Organise at least 3 prison visits a month with our hospitality employers Organise workshop and present in front of candidates in prison Follow up after visits to track outcomes and report results. 4) Maintain strong communication with the Only A Pavement Away team Attend weekly meetings with the Employment Team and the Head of Employment Partnerships Collect and analyse data, providing structured, actionable insights to the team to inform decision-making and strategy. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS We are looking for someone who: Is a self-starter, able to work independently and manage their own schedule (remote work included). Has a strong experience or practical knowledge of the custodial sector, with experience or knowledge of the hospitality industry. Have excellent communications and listening skills: is comfortable leading calls, speaking in front of an audience, handling difficult conversations Is comfortable travelling several times a month, mostly using their own car, to attend prison visits in the UK Have strong organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Thrives in relationship-building, with excellent communication and listening skills, comfortable speaking to diverse groups and leading calls.
