Job Opportunity: HSEQ Manager
Location: Based out of Telford Office (2 days in office, 3 days on site across the Midlands)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
My client is looking for an experienced HSEQ Manager with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role to join their team. This role offers a mix of office and site-based work, providing you the opportunity to oversee and enhance safety, health, environmental, and quality processes across various construction projects in the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Safety Oversight: Conduct regular site safety tours to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
2. Maintain and renew construction accreditations such as CHAS and Constructionline.
3. Manage and improve the staff training matrix, ensuring all employees have up-to-date certifications.
4. Chair quarterly H&S committee meetings, providing leadership and fostering a positive safety culture.
5. Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and all relevant health and safety regulations.
6. Provide support in both office (Telford) and on-site environments, collaborating with project teams to drive continuous improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, with general construction site knowledge.
2. NEBOSH Construction preferred; NEBOSH General will be considered.
3. Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations.
4. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
5. Clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the Midlands.
6. Proficient in IT and office software.
