We’re currently supporting a leading international business in their search for an interim Commercial Finance Business Partner to join their FP&A team.
This opportunity is a true blend of FP&A, Analytics and Commercial Finance, with a strong emphasis on pricing analytics. The successful candidate will work closely with senior commercial stakeholders to bring clarity, structure and strategic insight to their pricing strategy and commercial reporting framework.
The Role
As Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing pricing insight, performance analysis and strategic decision-making across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and owning the Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) analysis: You’ll deep-dive into product-level profitability by examining material costs, labour rates, bills of materials and key cost drivers
Interpreting complex product attributes and identifying the commercial levers that drive margin variance
Reviewing and challenging the current pricing strategy across the European business – including customer discount structures, rebate logic, and price scheduling mechanisms
Leading forecast/budget cycles for commercial performance across the EU region
