We have a new and exciting opportunity for an M&E Supervisor to join an established FM provider. You will be responsible for a team of 7 people.
About the role of M&E Supervisor
The role is based in a newly built data centre in Essex/Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will live within a 25 mile radius of the site.
Responsibilities for the role of M&E Supervisor
1. Oversee all works issued and carried out by the day technicians.
2. Ensure works issued to the day technical staff consisting of Planned or Reactive maintenance is completed to a high standard.
3. Ensure all work activities are collated & reported accurately to the facility management.
4. Involvement in the maintenance tasks listed below:
1. Fault finding of infrastructure Equipment and Systems.
2. Reactive tasks.
3. Inspections and analysis.
4. Commissioning and Benchmarking.
5. Installation of New infrastructure Equipment.
6. Decommissioning of Retired infrastructure Equipment.
7. Power and Bonding of Server Racks.
8. Chemical Handling.
9. Updates to Maintenance Documentation.
Requirements for the role of M&E Supervisor
1. Qualification in building services mechanical and electrical engineering to a minimum of City & Guilds.
2. 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers registration.
3. A good working knowledge of building services trades - UPS, Diesel Generators, Plumbing, HVAC systems, and Refrigeration.
4. Knowledge and awareness of CAFM systems and their use.
5. HV/LV certified.
6. Hold an IOSH/H&S certificate.
7. Data centre knowledge.
