Job Overview An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse. This will be in our Christiansen Unit which is a 16 bedded general medical/escalation area that provided general nursing care to patients of all specialities. We particularly relate with our partners in the community in ensuring that patients have safe discharge from the hospital. The ward provides care for patients with various general medical conditions hence a good opportunity for you to be involved with patients from the various specialities. Main duties of the job As Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be working closely with the Senior Sister and Matron, playing an integral role in driving changes with a range of comprehensive orientation and support. We can offer you a range of management and leadership development opportunities to support you in this role. Essential skills key to this role are implementing and maintaining high clinical standards whilst caring for patients, enhancing staff personal development, providing guidance, support and expertise to clinical staff.
