The Compliance Manager will be responsible for Data Analysis/Report writing, running and monitoring the complaints system and general compliance around the reporting on the contract.

1. Tracking and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established with the Councils, as well as internal targets set by Biffa.
2. Establishing and maintaining a self-monitoring mechanism to ensure compliance, while also optimising operational schedules for efficiency.
3. Identifying and communicating any instances of non-compliance to Business Managers, collaborating with management, operational teams, and internal stakeholders to implement improvement plans and draw upon industry best practices.
4. Delivering comprehensive reports, including in-depth evaluations of potential trial initiatives, to fulfil Council specifications.
5. Analysing and presenting data for inclusion in Council reports, actively participating in client-facing meetings as needed.
6. Proposing and overseeing continuous improvement endeavours with Councils and Business Managers. Supporting adherence to performance standards and assisting Business Managers in devising strategies for efficiency and sustainability enhancements.
7. Assist in internal staff training initiatives and contribute to consultative meetings and performance appraisals.
8. Aid the administrative team in overseeing all staff records, including holiday entitlements, sick leave, and training documentation.
9. Support the administration function, ensuring adequate coverage and smooth operation of staff-related administrative tasks.
Requirements

10. Demonstrated success in meeting clearly defined service delivery Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
11. Proven track record of implementing and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives within operational and service environments.
12. Proficiency in producing and analysing reports using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with expertise in utilising Pivot tables and formulas.
13. Comprehensive understanding of the demands of working within time-sensitive service environments. Highly adept in IT usage, including proficiency in business software and systems, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
14. Effective influencing and persuasion skills to drive initiatives forward.
15. Strong interpersonal skills coupled with assertiveness in communication.
16. Exceptional time management abilities, adept at working under tight deadlines.
17. Organisational prowess with a knack for simplifying complex issues.
18. Analytical mindset with the capability to measure, monitor, and take corrective action based on data.
19. Effective communicator across all levels, proficient in both verbal and written communication.
