Our client, a dynamic and growing event production company, is seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly organised Events Production Manager to lead their diverse range of regional, national, and international events. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a technical background and leadership skills, offering the chance to work across multi-faceted events while ensuring exceptional delivery from ideation through to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
* Research, develop, and manage the technical aspects of allocated events and projects.
* Oversee event creative design and strategy, ensuring alignment with client objectives and branding.
* Manage all documentation for events, including contracts, RAMS, schedules, and ESG reports.
* Prepare, communicate, and manage event schedules, responsibilities, and execution plans.
* Coordinate with suppliers, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth event delivery.
* Manage supplier relationships, including obtaining quotes, managing designs, and fulfilling all technical requirements.
* Create detailed event plans and technical specifications, ensuring high industry standards.
* Oversee technical delivery on-site, managing installation, operation, and event breakdown.
* Develop and manage cost forecasts, ensuring events are delivered on budget.
* Liaise with clients, attending meetings and ensuring client requirements are met throughout the process.
* Introduce and manage carbon reporting for all delivered events.
General Responsibilities:
* Represent our client at client meetings, presentations, and events.
* Actively promote the company's services to enhance brand visibility and foster new business opportunities.
* Lead and motivate the internal team, ensuring successful project delivery and overall company success.
* Travel across the UK and abroad as needed for event site visits, client meetings, and event delivery.
Key Skills & Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in a Creative Production, Production, or Technical Management role (preferably in a commercial environment).
* Exceptional organisational, scheduling, and time management skills.
* Strong ability to lead a team, while also collaborating effectively with others.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under time pressure.
* Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally.
* Ability to work flexibly, including occasional overnight stays.
