The Collegiate Trust is looking for a personable, enthusiastic and organised individual to play a key role in support the Trust’s HR function.
This role is full-time, with occasional travel to other school. We offer the flexibility of working from home on a weekly basis.
What does the role involve?
The main aim of this role is to support quality HR across our 8 (soon to be 9) schools, supporting school and Trust leaders on employee relations cases, and providing quality operational support for all aspects of our people management. In addition, the postholder will work closely with the Director of HR to deliver a quality people strategy, develop robust policies and processes and ensure TCT is a quality, forward thinking and supportive employer.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has experience of working within HR and is at a stage in their career where they are confident in supporting employee relations cases and offering HR advice to leaders, but who is also able to undertake the administrative work of producing high standard documentation such as contracts, process outcome letters and compliance checks (such as the SCR).
The role might suit someone who is looking to further develop their skills. We support quality CPD, so would consider someone wishing to progress their HR experience and possibly undertake the appropriate CIPD qualification for their development. Whilst experience in the education sector is preferable and valuable, it is not essential. What is essential is the ability to demonstrate high quality communication and administration skills, a good level of organisation, and the ability to hold a varied case load of ER cases and other tasks.
Additionally, the and person specification shown in the application pack will give you a good indication of who we are looking for, including the skills and experience that would make for our ideal candidate.
