Role: Business Analyst - Data Science Location : Hybrid - Hampshire Pay: £400-£500 per day I am seeking a dynamic and self-driven Business Analyst to join my client on a contract basis, in this role, you'll be instrumental in uncovering and defining key business requirements, conducting in-depth data analysis, and delivering insights that will directly improve business efficiency. Your main deliverable will be a clear, comprehensive report on a select number of high-priority requirements, setting the stage for the organisations data scientists to develop targeted technical solutions. You'll showcase your findings in an engaging 'show & tell' format, ensuring a seamless handover of all project artifacts at the project's conclusion. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Engage stakeholders to document business needs in high-priority areas via interviews and workshops. Data Analysis: Assess existing and potential data sources for quality, accessibility, and relevance. Feasibility & Justification: Conduct feasibility studies for proposed solutions, documenting business impact and efficiency gains. Expected Outputs: Define outputs aligned with business goals, including database structures, reports, and dashboards. Accuracy & Security: Set acceptable accuracy levels and ensure data security compliance. Documentation: Produce a comprehensive report for data scientists, with all artifacts presented in a 'show & tell' Q&A format. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's in Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field; Master's preferred. Experience: Proven background in technical business analysis and data science concepts. Technical Skills: Knowledge of data analysis, visualization tools, and data security. Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Project Duration: Circa 4 months, with all deliverables, including a full report on 3-5 prioritized business requirements, to be handed over upon project completion.
