We are working with an excellent distributor based in Leeds (near Headingley) who are looking for an assistant accountant/assistant management accountant to join them. The company are an SME but going through significant growth, so this is a newly created role reporting into the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities:
* Daily posting and reconciliation of sales invoices and receipts
* Regular reconciliation of customer accounts and investigation of discrepancies
* Managing cash balances and preparing cash for banking
* Supplier invoice processing, account payments, and reconciliation
* Preparation of daily/monthly sales reports
* Supporting the Financial Controller with month-end procedures, including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
* Other adhoc duties as the company continues to grow.
