Job Purpose:
We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic individual to lead our Design Technology department. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional teaching and learning, raising standards, and ensuring students achieve outstanding academic outcomes. You will work with both staff and students to maintain high expectations, encourage innovation, and develop a forward-thinking approach to the curriculum that equips students with the skills needed for future success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Design Technology department to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
* Set and maintain the highest standards of student achievement and conduct, fostering an environment of excellence.
* Develop a rigorous and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, preparing them for academic and vocational success.
* Work closely with senior leadership to implement whole-school initiatives aimed at raising standards and expectations.
