ACCOUNT OVERVIEW
OpenMind was recently awarded the ZEUR assignment for Nestlé Europe. With 47 countries, +450 team members, and regular new product launches, the account is looking for an experienced digital planner and leader to support the Above Market team. Being above market, the role offers plenty of variety, with an enjoyable balance of leadership, governance, and innovation ensuring we’re delivering change at scale. OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
A digital media professional, handling cutting-edge, exciting brands across sectors/categories. We are looking for a Senior Director – Digital who will be managing the client relationship and help drive the digital agenda for the respective clients. This role will deliver integrated digital solutions to fulfill clients’ digital objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Managing and being responsive to client requests, appropriately delegating tasks to individual team members.
2. Guiding team members to develop strategic thinking and media planning skills.
3. Driving digital acceleration and application of digital planning principles.
4. Working closely with the specialist teams to ensure you are up to date with their latest offerings.
5. Collaborating with media partners on responses to briefs or pro-actives.
6. Engaging in ongoing learning of the client’s category/competitive activity as well as the changing media landscape.
7. Attending meetings – internal, client, and cross-agency.
8. Questioning – using the insights at our disposal, either through the strategy team or business science, to consider how this might affect the overall communications for clients.
9. Participating in new business pitches and providing insightful and comprehensive communication solutions for the agency and its clients.
WHAT YOU BRING:
1. This is a leadership role requiring proactivity and a determination to create change.
2. You are expected to have experience in digital strategy, media planning, digital consultancy, and execution wherever possible in an agency environment.
3. Understanding of the programmatic landscape, including trends and technologies (DMP, DSP, SSP, etc.) – Preferred.
4. Curiosity – always asking meaningful questions and challenging the brief if necessary.
5. High attention to detail to ensure the team’s output is of the highest quality.
6. Proven experience in managing people and the ability to adapt management style.
7. Strong team player.
8. Ability to navigate difficult client situations/manage expectations in a diplomatic way.
9. Enterprising – ability to identify and drive revenue opportunities.
YOUR KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
1. Appropriate level of media agency/marketing/brand management experience.
2. Strong understanding of digital media.
