Programme Details
You will undertake a series of three-month rotational placements, including areas such as Mechanical Assembly, Electromechanical Assembly, Electro-Optic Assembly, Environmental Facility, Material Supply and Logistics, Master Production Scheduling, Manufacturing Engineering, and Machine Shop. These placements will introduce you to manufacturing and teach you how to build and test industry-leading radar and laser systems. You will also learn how we manage the flow of materials through our supply chain and optimize our processes.
Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge
Minimum academic qualifications include:
* 4 Standard Grades (1-3) / National 5 (A-C) or National 4 (or equivalent)
* Mandatory: Mathematics & English
* Plus two other subjects, preferably technological, such as Graphic Communication, Product Design, Craft & Design, Tech Studies, Computing, Woodwork, Metalwork, etc.
Note: This apprenticeship assumes limited engineering knowledge and is NOT suitable for candidates who already possess an NC qualification.

Compensation
The starting salary for this role is £17,000.
