Reporting to the UK Business Development Manager, Environmental & Decommissioning, the successful candidate will be required to lead the UK business development function of our Environmental and Decommissioning business and further develop ASCO's service offerings to these markets on a national scale. To promote ASCO's services across our existing and potential customer base and to represent ASCO across the various industry bodies. To develop collaborative ties with other service companies to enhance our value proposition and widen our market reach in line with ASCO strategies. Duties include:
* Full adherence to ASCO's obsessions in safety & service delivery excellence and sustainability.
* To create and develop regional business development plans in line with company strategies.
* To manage and support the regional sales executives create and deliver to their individual targets.
* To set up and maintain an appropriate measurement system for sales performance.
* To ensure the company CRM system is used to gather important data for progressive sales results.
* Promotion of all ASCO services in Environmental and Decommissioning markets
* Work with all ASCO service lines to maximise cross selling and business development opportunities.
* Liaise with existing and potential customers to build relationships and create opportunities.
* Represent ASCO in all industry bodies involved in Environmental and Decommissioning activities.
* Provide support to ASCO business units in other countries where Environmental and Decommissioning activities are developing.
* Build closer ties with other service companies and relevant organisations to offer collaborative services in the Decommissioning sector and enhance our market reach.
Successful sales and business development experience in Environmental and Industrial services.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent planning & organising skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and in writing.
* Demonstratable capability to deal with senior management in customer organisations.
* Maintains positive work relationships.
* Solutions based, motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and internal/external customer support.
* Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
* Ability to work stand-alone while a positive contributor to the wider team.
* Computer literate with operator knowledge across the Microsoft suite., Business degree or equivalent qualification, Excellent negotiator and ability to articulate service offerings and business opportunities.
* Ability to develop strategic plans for business development in this sector.
* Commitment to the highest safety and environmental standards
* Experience in the energy industry with particular reference to the Environmental and Decommissioning service sector
