We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader with the right values, skills and work ethic to work in our St Helens based services. This role would be a full time position requiring 40 hours per week. As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the 24-hour management of the supported individuals home. You will be on duty within the home while managing the staff team. Your duties will include handling the 4-weekly payroll, conducting probation reviews, providing supervisions, and carrying out appraisals. Some homes require Female candidates only as this is indicated under occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 Key Requirements: Desirable Experience: Experience in Supported Living or Social Care : Proven background in providing support to individuals with varying needs in a supported living setting. Leadership Experience : Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Person-Centred Planning : Experience in developing and implementing person-centred care plans to ensure the individuals needs are met. Experience in Supporting Vulnerable Individuals : Experience working with individuals who have physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, autism, or other support needs. Crisis Management : Experience in handling difficult situations, de-escalating conflicts, and responding to emergencies in a calm and efficient manner. Family Liaison: Experience working with families to encourage open, honest communication and foster a commitment to continually improving the service provided to their family member.
