The Role: As the Site Operations Manager, you'll lead and develop our team to deliver high-quality products on time and to specification. You'll work closely with various departments to ensure smooth operations, maintain high standards, and drive continuous improvement.

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and help us continue to grow and succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Lead by example, coach, and develop your team to achieve maximum performance and efficiency. Organise staff rotas, manage holidays, absences, and holiday accruals, and ensure consistent staffing levels.
2. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including planning labour requirements, managing product quality, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Liaise with commercial, supply chain, and technical departments to agree on daily harvest, order, and production plans.
3. Collaboration: Work with the Director of Growing, Growing Manager, Maintenance team, and other departments to identify and implement operational improvements. Lead end-of-season turnaround activities for glasshouses and ensure readiness for the next season.
4. Financial Oversight: Manage the site P&L, forecast and control spending, and ensure budget adherence. Liaise closely with the Finance team to forecast and deliver actual spend across labour and other direct costs.
5. Audits and Compliance: Ensure all auditing processes are carried out and maintain high standards across the site. Support and manage internal audits with the Growing Manager and ensure compliance with all company and statutory H&S requirements.
