As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Cover Supervisor at Heath Farm School.
About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to cover teaching and learning across the school to improve consistency when teachers are on PPA, in school meetings or absent.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
You will be responsible for delivering teaching and learning during their absence. You will be skilled at engaging and motivating pupils who find learning a challenge in this all-age special school for pupils with behaviour and learning difficulties including SEMH, ASD.
Essential:
1. A deeply held conviction that every child can achieve and reach their potential;
2. Flexibility to manage short notice change calmly;
3. Excellent classroom practitioner and team player;
4. Ability to work successfully with pupils with challenging behaviour;
5. Resilience;
6. Ability to work on own initiative;
7. Willing to undertake training;
8. Maths and English GCSE qualifications of C or above (or equivalent qualifications);
9. Some experience of leading teaching and learning in classroom environment.
