Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Cleaner at Moreton Court, Bideford.
At Sanctuary Supported Living, we specialise in delivering a wide range of personalised housing, care and support services to help people across England to live as independently as possible. We’re a national organisation, but we’re not-for-profit and we think locally by putting our customers at the heart of what we do.
The position of Cleaner is referred to internally at Sanctuary as General Assistant - Cleaner.
The role of Cleaner will include:
* Undertaking general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of all communal areas, offices and the kitchen.
* Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard.
* Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment.
* Maintaining stock levels, restocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes.
* Helping to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards and ensuring the needs of our customers are met.
* Ensuring customers’ privacy and dignity are maintained and respected.
Skills and experiences:
* Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable.
* Some experience of working in a domestic/catering environment.
* Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering, or willing to work towards.
* Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
* A general understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
