We're looking for an experienced leader to join our development team to be responsible for building and maintaining software systems that power our business. What will you be doing? Lead team rituals including standups, refinement and planning sessions, ensuring the team makes realistic and achievable commitments Ensure the quality of software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) Implement and evolve secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) processes, fostering a culture of cross-skilling and continuous improvement Shorten the feedback loop between the team Product Owner, Product Managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure that software development aligns with business objectives Work with the Programme Manager to build a delivery plan for modernising our application estate and adopting targeted software solutions, delivering software projects on established and new architectures What we offer? Proven experience leading a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure the team's success Previous senior software development experience with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, C#, Python, Pascal, JavaScript Strong people management skills, with experience in setting clear goals and objectives while optimising individual and team performance Robust understanding of agile software development frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban A background working alongside other cross-functional teams to deliver reusable solutions and ensure timely deliveries in line with business priorities Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Interested?
