About the team
Gloucestershire Pension Fund is part of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and is administered by Gloucestershire County Council. The Fund has approximately 200 participating employers and over 65,000 active, deferred, and pensioner members. Our aim is to provide an accurate and customer-focused service to our members from joining the scheme to retirement and beyond.
About the role
We are looking to recruit a Principal or Senior Pension Officer (Data and Systems) who will help us deliver a comprehensive and effective service by introducing and maintaining new systems such as scheme member and employer portals to share data and information, ensuring we have high-quality data and efficient processes, supporting data improvement initiatives and projects, and writing and running systems reports (e.g., using Tableau).
In particular, during 2025 we are looking to roll out a new system (i-Connect) among all our employers, and we are looking for someone to support employers with onboarding onto the new system.
About you
We value individuals with great attitudes; it isn’t only about having experience. We want driven people who are keen to learn new things, who are hard-working, take pride in their work, and are team players. We value enthusiasm and individuals who place a high level of importance on attributes such as being trustworthy, flexible, and friendly.
To be successful, you will need to have some experience of working in a data or systems-focused role (ideally in pensions, but this is not essential). We would particularly value experience in leading or being part of data cleansing and maintenance projects, experience in writing and running systems reports, and experience in introducing customer-facing web portals or data transfer systems.
The principal role will act as a deputy to the team manager. Further information on each role is attached.
