Job Title: Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity in the FMCG industry? Our client, a global manufacturer with multiple sites across Europe, is looking for a talented Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at their site in Winsford, Cheshire.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform planned maintenance on plant and equipment to high standards.
2. Respond to breakdowns on production machines promptly.
3. Install and relocate production equipment as needed.
4. Specify and order spare parts efficiently.
5. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
6. Conduct mechanical and pneumatic fault finding.
7. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete daily time sheets.
8. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Ability to read mechanical drawings.
* Strong mechanical skills and experience in fault finding.
* Electrical knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
* Experience in a high-speed, high-pressure production environment.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing.
* City & Guilds qualification or equivalent.
