The Baby Cot Shop, the UK’s premier destination for luxury nursery and children’s interiors, is expanding, and we’re looking for an exceptional Sales Assistant to join our team. With our flagship store on King’s Road, Chelsea, and our new concession in Harrods, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a brand that is synonymous with elegance, craftsmanship, and timeless design.
About the Role
As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding client experience, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the high standards of The Baby Cot Shop. You will work across our Chelsea showroom and Harrods concession, engaging with discerning clients, from expectant parents to family office representatives, helping them find bespoke pieces for their nurseries and children’s spaces.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Provide an exceptional, consultative sales experience, ensuring every client feels valued.
2. Assist with interior design consultations, offering guidance on colour schemes, layouts, and bespoke furniture selections.
3. Build long-term relationships with clients, including UHNW individuals, interior designers, and private family offices.
4. Work closely with our operations team to coordinate custom orders and ensure a seamless process from consultation to delivery.
5. Maintain the showroom and Harrods concession to the highest standards, ensuring an inviting and luxurious shopping environment.
6. Keep up to date with luxury interior trends and contribute to styling the showroom to enhance the customer experience.
7. Support marketing efforts by sharing insights from client interactions, assisting with styling for photoshoots, and suggesting relevant content ideas.

* Experienced in luxury retail or interiors, preferably with high-ticket sales experience.
* Impeccably presented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to anticipate client needs.
* Comfortable working with discerning customers, including high-profile and UHNW clients.
* Tech-savvy, with experience using POS systems and handling digital inquiries.
* A team player with a warm yet refined approach to sales.
