Pontnewydd Nursery and Primary School along with its staff and pupils are a long-established part of the community in Cwmbran. We are now looking to appoint 3 Midday Supervisors to our friendly, close-knit, supportive team.
Being a lunchtime supervisor isn't always easy, but it can be a very valuable and rewarding job. Lunchtimes and playtimes allow the children the opportunity to relax away from the pressures of the classroom, build positive relationships and have fun.
You will be required to ensure the safety, welfare and conduct of pupils during the midday break period. Assistance is also given to school and catering staff with basic cleaning and general duties in and around dining areas.
For an informal discussion regarding this vacancy please contact our school office on 01633 483307 or by e-mail: clerk.pontnewyddprimary@torfaen.gov.uk.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all applicants which will include an Enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
