The Commercial Catering Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other food service appliances. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and an understanding of various catering systems, ensuring that equipment operates efficiently and meets all safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out planned or reactive maintenance works at customer sites, as directed by the Operations team.
2. Management of van stock.
3. Complete work according to current method statements, plus relevant compliance and service-related processes.
4. Actively highlight and report any additional works required for the continued reliability of customer assets.
5. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop good working relationships with customers and staff.
6. Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed correctly and promptly.
7. Ensure all Health & Safety guidelines and statutory regulations are met and adhered to.
8. Diagnose chargeable tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures.
9. Communicate regularly with the Operations Team providing updates on work or tasks.
10. Able to work on a Call out Rota.
Requirements for the role:
1. COMCAT 1, 3 & 5.
2. C&G electrical qualifications/experience.
3. Must have a full driving licence.
4. Field engineer experience.
