Let’s grow together … Purpose of the role Sourcing new loans and ongoing opportunity from new and existing customers. The role is telesales based, based in the Poole office and offers hybrid working. Deliver excellent customer service to all clients, prospective clients, internal and external customers. Maximise business opportunities by using best practice, planning and tenacity. Duties and responsibilities Introduce new business & support existing & strategic accounts Build and maintain new and existing relationships with introductory sources Achieve allocated targets of new deals, volume and income by: Building and maintaining a level of new enquiries, attending networking events and identify and secure opportunities for new business and contacts Conduct sales meetings with prospective clients / introducers when required; complete risk templates for sanction of the facility, chasing outstanding enquires and paperwork on deals, maintain CRM system, attend sales team meetings Achieve the prescribed number of calls per day This role will involve occasional time away from home and over night stays Commercial Awareness Develop knowledge and understanding of the asset based finance industry including all Iceberg products, Paragon Products and services, Competitors, Introducers, Risks, client industry, market and sectors. Team Work Work with and liaise with Sales Support and Underwriting in order to exceed client expectations You’ll work within a dynamic and fast paced team where support is needed two way Continuous focus on customer led process improvements Marketing Promote Iceberg and the whole Paragon group Attend external events from time to time Reporting Consistently and accurately provide information on the CRM systems to assist in the production and completion of weekly and monthly sales analysis and reports Have sound accurate knowledge of pipeline and forecasting performance Regulatory Maintain, Manage and protect customer information and data Represent our Values - Professionalism, Integrity, Humour, Commitment, Creativity, Teamwork, Fairness and Respect About You Skills Experience of working in a high volume and transactional sales environment Competent telephone skills including cold calling & prospecting Knowledge of the legal profession (desirable) Numeracy and literacy; IT, Microsoft office, in particular Excel and Outlook, Planning and organising. Customer service skills and the ability to work alone whilst being a team player Highly organised and able to work under time pressure from time to time Able to understand and prepare basic finance proposals for underwriting Good presentation and interpersonal skills Qualifications and experience You must have a current, valid UK drivers license.
