What does this role entail? A day in the life of a Central Production Kitchen Supervisor would include Preparing a range of high-quality, freshly made items to supply the Park Catering Outlets and Staff Canteen for both Guest and Team consumption. Responsible for all stock ordering, production levels, and reviewal based on the Resort figures. Being confident in leading by example with a hands on approach and establishing a team of highly skilled individuals to ensure smooth operational standards. Train new hires and existing team on proper food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and best practices. Ensuring and adhering to the compliance of Health & Safety standards, alongside the Corporate Food Safety Legislation for products being produced and within the working environment. Supporting with deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely. Ensuring any relevant daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork is complete in accordance with the business HACCP procedures. Responsible and accountable for the safe opening and closing of your area of responsibility, ensuring that all equipment is properly shut down and secure. Reporting any near misses or incidents to the Health & Safety team and completing any relevant paperwork. Ensure all team attend relevant training courses and that they are up to date. What is required for this role? Here are some desirable qualities required for this role Previous Food and Beverage or Hospitality experience is required. Food Safety Qualification Level 2 or above desired. Be able to remain calm under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner. Be a great communicator, both with reporting team as well as the management team. Be adaptable and flexible to support with business requirements daily. Be approachable at all times with a positive can-do attitude and show willingness towards being a team player, while striving for success and growth.
