VACANCY HIS3122 MECHANICAL OPERATIVE KNARESBOROUGH- WITH TRAVEL CONTRACT TYPE: PERMANENT WORKING HOURS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY SALARY: UP TO £16.00 DOE CLOSING DATE: 12th January 2025 As Mechanical operative you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, ensuring that all machinery operates at peak efficiency. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and implementing improvements to enhance performance. The role briefly encompasses the following duties: - Ensure compliance with mechanical quality, safety, occupational health, and environmental standards. Provide weekly reports on mechanical safety, plant, and labour performance. Organize mechanical resources for daily activities. Manage plant and material requirements for site activities. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/ attributes:- Knowledge of the Water Industry preferred Relevant industry skills card or qualifications (CSCS/NVQ/City & Guilds).
