An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time receptionist covering reception shifts in both the Arthur South Day Procedure Unit and Ambulatory Procedure Unit and there is occasional requirement to cover our Main Theatre reception.
The Day Procedure Unit is a fully integrated unit comprising of Surgical and Anaesthetic pre-assessment, theatres, recovery areas and wards for patients having planned day surgical procedures.
The Ambulatory Procedure Unit is also fully integrated unit with its own theatres, consultation rooms and discharge suite. A hand trauma clinic runs every morning where injuries from around the region are assessed and any surgery is usually scheduled for the same day. Clinicians also see on-the-day referrals from the Emergency Department, GP practices and our neighboring Hospitals within the region.
Our aim is to put patients first in an area of the highest quality of care. Alongside the nursing and medical teams, the administrative team ensures both units run smoothly, effectively and act as a reliable point of contact along a patient's pathway. As part of this large and friendly team you'll be expected to maintain a high level of the patient-focused care we aim to deliver for our patients, and all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity and Excellence.
