About The Role: As an Academic Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide targeted support, enhance learning experiences, and foster an inclusive educational environment. Responsibilities of Academic Support Assistant: Provide in-class support to students across various subjects, ensuring their academic progress and engagement. Assist students in understanding and completing assignments and tasks. Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individual learning plans. Offer one-to-one or small group interventions for students who require additional support. Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation. Monitor student progress and report on achievements and areas for improvement. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) where applicable. The successful candidate will: Experience working in an educational setting is desirable. SEN experience is a bonus but not essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students with varying needs. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
