Reporting Technician
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Reporting Technician to join our Structures & Pavements team. Working within the team based in Coventry, but collaborating with other team members located around the country. The Structures and Pavements site team carries out testing and inspection on sites such as buildings, bridges, and roads.
The key function of the role is to assist the Reporting Manager by producing high-quality reports in a timely manner, detailing site and laboratory test results.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
1. Drafting high-quality reports using both site and laboratory test results.
2. Inputting data collected on-site accurately into report templates and using photographs and drawings to enhance the reports where needed.
3. Liaising with colleagues within the Structures and Pavements team and other teams within SOCOTEC.
4. Proactively assisting with the smooth running of the office.
5. Any other duties as assigned and deemed commensurate with the grade and overall responsibility of the post.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook, and also PDF software.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. A keen eye for detail and the ability to produce accurate work.
4. The ability to work in an organised fashion to achieve deadlines.

About Structures & Pavements –
Our Structures & Pavements team performs an extensive range of testing, investigation, and condition surveys across a wide range of UK Infrastructure assets including highways, rail, airfields, ports, and harbours, power stations, sports stadia, in addition to building investigations across Industrial, Commercial, and Residential properties.
