Overview Salary: £23,100-£26,250 per annum (depending on experience) Working hours: 37.5; Monday-Friday: 08:45-17:00 John Carson (Head Office Accountant) is on the hunt for a Credit Controller to come and join his well-established team based on Boucher Road, Belfast. Working alongside a variety of departments from Sales, Service and Parts through to Accounts; within this role you will play a key role supporting sales ledger and working capital management. Proactively collecting and managing all debts including ensuring timely payment as well as required follow up payments Administering and managing account limits, evaluating new credit request and reviewing ongoing credit limits Monitoring sales ledger accounts to minimise exposure to both excessive and bad debt Checking and processing credit notes as well as responding to adhoc queries Preparing statements and raising sundry invoices and credit notes as required Working closely with all departments to efficiently collect debt Reporting any key issues to Managers and Accountants to highlight areas of focus and potential exposure We are on the hunt for a candidate who has experience in both developing and maintaining good relationships with internal and external customers. If so, this role could be your perfect match Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that you have experience in identifying and managing significant volumes of data, including working readily with numbers and being able to discuss statistical information. We are looking for someone who is able to work independently within a busy environment and can demonstrate a pro-active attitude by managing their own time and workflow effectively. It is important that youre able to co-ordinate multiple activities simultaneously in order to meet defined and tight deadlines. You must not be afraid to challenge information and provided documentation whilst maintaining up to date knowledge around new processes, products, systems as well as services.
