Activities Co-Ordinator

Hours: 20 Hours per week
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Activities Co-Ordinator to work at our Raeden Court Care Home in Aberdeen. This role is responsible for leading the development of an activities programme for Blackwood's customers. You'll work closely with our care management and volunteering teams to achieve this goal.
Our purpose is to help people live independently, with innovative services and products that allow them to choose how they wish to live their life to the fullest, regardless of age and disability. We look for our Activities Co-ordinator to work collaboratively with customers and their families, ensuring all activities are person-centred, celebrate diversity, and promote inclusion for all customers.
About you
We are looking for an individual with either experience or an aptitude as an Activities Coordinator. Passionate about customer service, the successful candidate should provide stimulation and social engagement through a wide range of varied and meaningful activities throughout the calendar year, ensuring that these remain within the available resources.
As an organisation, we are keen to build and develop our neighbourhood engagement. The successful candidate should be proactive about collaborative working with local partners within our community, particularly regarding fundraising activities, signposting, and access to resources. Training can be sourced to support the development of this role.
This role will provide an excellent personal growth opportunity in the planning, coordinating, and delivery of activities within a care home environment. All delivered activities and events will be safe, in line with customers' needs and choices, and will complement our high-quality services.
