Role Overview: As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students’ academic and personal development while gaining invaluable experience in an educational setting. Location: Newport Pay: £12.90 per hour DOE Hours: Monday-Friday. 8:30 -15:30 Start: ASAP Successful Candidate Criteria: - Collaborate with teachers to provide general support in the classroom, fostering a positive learning atmosphere for every student. - Provide one-on-one and small-group assistance to students needing extra help with their studies, enhancing their confidence and academic progress. - Engage in or assist with extracurricular activities that support the overall development of students. - Track student progress and provide feedback to teachers to tailor interventions and enhance learning outcomes. - Develop a positive relationship with students to foster trust and involvement in their education. Qualifications and Requirements: - A recent graduate in any subject discipline, with a strong academic background. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - A genuine passion for motivating and assisting young individuals in their educational journey. - Right to work in the UK, ensuring compliance with legal regulations. - Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS) (or willingness to apply) - EWC registration (or willingness to apply) - Experience working with children/young people is not required but is preferred.
