The Visitor Experience & Operations Team works closely with colleagues across the property to shape the quality and content of our visitor offer. This role will work to create an all year round offer for our visitors. If you are enthusiastic, driven and hard working we would love to hear from you.

You'll join the Visitor Operations & Experience team, working alongside the Welcome Manager, Programming & Partnerships Officer, Fundraising Officer, Senior Marketing & Communications Officer & Volunteering & Community Officer.

What you'll be doing
Responsible for the development and delivery of an inspiring, engaging and innovative visitor programme, you'll be a key player in delivering our strategic ambitions for the property over several areas including cultural and creative programming, community engagement and endorsing our environmental messaging.
You'll use programming to encourage repeat and new visits, meeting the needs of a diverse audience, and encouraging visitors to connect with our cause, collaborating with other teams on the property and building relationships with external partners to help us deliver a high-quality and consistent programme of experiences.
Part of the duty management team, responsible for the operational day-to-day visitor experience, you'll manage a full-time Programming & Partnerships Officer too.
This role will include some weekend work (both as part of a duty management rota and visitor programme activity and event delivery).
Who we're looking for
We'd love to hear from you, if you have:
* experience delivering creative and inclusive people engagement activities and events within the arts, culture, heritage, natural environment, sports, or visitor attraction sector
* experience of collaborative working with community, learning, creative and cultural arts, or funding partners
* the ability to work independently as well as with a team, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and productive place for staff and volunteers
* an understanding of an audience-led approach, with the ability to evaluate and use insights to develop an offer or event
* experience of delivery in daily operations and event management, including budgets, as well as long term strategic planning
* great people management and communication skills, establishing and developing positive relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
