£30-35,000 basic salary on offer - On site role daily (5 days a week) Liverpool L1 / Ellesmere Port
MUST be able to drive (and own a vehicle) as will be based on site, at various sites DAILY. Will need to drive around L1 postcode and occasionally to Ellesmere Port.
An IT company is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to provide technical support (Windows/ Networking/ Server/ VLAN) and assistance to end-users for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues, mostly for Educational (schools & academies) institutions.
You will be driving to various sites daily across Liverpool and Ellesmere Port.
The position requires the individual to be willing to do anything between 1st-3rd line support as part of the day-to-day as it won't always be the high-level jobs you are required for.
Responsibilities:
* 1st, 2nd and some 3rd Line Duties
* Windows Server
* O365
* Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
* Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security patches.
* Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnose issues, and implement solutions promptly.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
* Respond to IT support tickets and service requests.
