We are looking to recruit a Lead Commissioning Engineer on a 12 month+ contract based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Role Overview
Responsible for start-up and plant operations activities including equipment and system checkout, inspection for proper installation, review for correct design, and calculation of expected system and equipment operating parameters under temporary start-up conditions. Coordinates start-up operations, including the direction of craft, and all other start-up activities such as flushing, chemical cleaning, and initial equipment and system operation.
To be successful in this role
Ideal candidates will have several years proven experience in EPSCC/start up/operation stages of LNG projects, including process simulation and prior commissioning experience in the Offshore LNG, Oil & Gas sectors.
Core Responsibilities:
1. In charge and responsible for review and verify the LNG PLANT Commissioning documentation delivered in time and in compliance with the DESIGN DOSSIER.
2. Ensure process studies are at required quality level and in accordance with forecast planning and costs.
3. Initiate and supervise specific process studies when necessary or when required by the Project.
4. Review and challenge the design changes and change orders from the Contractor.
5. Ensure that the PLANT detailed design for Process complies with S.O.R., contract documentation in particular performances guarantees, schedule, budget and safety practices.
6. Contribute to process schemes optimisation in terms of overall products valorisation and cost optimisation in coordination with the other project technical disciplines (safety, mechanical, electricity, instrumentation…).
7. Report to the Engineering Manager and project engineers, highlighting the concerns encountered in the performance of his/her duties.
8. Provide technical assistance as required to the Project Manager.
9. Promote and participate in process meetings with Contractors.
10. Ensure design validity and coherence with other disciplines and throughout the LNG Facilities.
11. Participate actively in proper interface management with all Project LNG contractor and Gas Fired Power Plant.
Experience
Process/Chemical Engineer with proven experience (> 15 years) with large onshore plants and LNG plant detailed design. Experience working on Company/Client side. Strong team work and decision making skills, previous management experience desirable. Knowledge of project development in Indonesia is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic. Able to travel and work from Site in Indonesia. Current TBOSIET or BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS MSIC.
