You will become the Test Equipment Architect specialising in the System Design of Test Equipment for missile and missile sub systems, plus occasionally missile or weapon system simulators.
About the Role:
1. Provide guidance on the Test Equipment Requirements and advise customers
2. Disseminate requirements into a system design (produce Architecture Design Documents)
3. Ensure the developed test system meets its system requirement
About You:
1. Experience of Test Equipment Design, obtained over multiple projects
2. Knowledge of Test Equipment Software, or software techniques and methods
3. Knowledge of Systems Engineering approaches, ability to spot poor requirements
4. Knowledge of Design For Test aspects, and able to guide and inform the Test Architects/IVLs
5. General knowledge of, and preferably a specialism in one of the following: Metrology, RF, Digital or Analogue Design, Power electronics, computing, Cyber or FPGA design
