Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Employability/Vocational Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment. Key Responsibilities: Delivering High-Quality Training: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative sessions to Recruitment apprentices, ensuring that learning outcomes are met, and learners are motivated and supported throughout their apprenticeship. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and review of the curriculum to ensure it is current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards. Support and Mentoring: Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentoring to learners, helping them to overcome any barriers to learning and achieve their qualifications. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of learner progress, attendance, and assessments, in accordance with Juniper Training’s policies and procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless delivery of the apprenticeship program and promote best practices. CPD: Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with industry changes, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience delivering employability skills training or workshops would be desirable Background in career coaching, job search support, or vocational guidance Familiarity with CV writing, interview techniques, and job application processes Experience working with diverse groups, including unemployed adults, NEETs, or vulnerable learners Strong knowledge of local job markets and employer requirements Experience in working towards job placement targets or learner progression Proficiency in delivering both group sessions and one-to-one support Experience creating and tailoring learning resources to different learning styles and abilities Knowledge of employability skills frameworks and accredited qualifications Familiarity with learner management systems and tracking learner progress Previous work within a Further Education or training environment is advantageous Experience supporting learners with barriers to employment, such as disabilities or long-term unemployment Ready to inspire the next generation?
