Job Summary:
Performs accounts payable and expense report processes and providessupport in other accounting functions as needed.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:
To performthis job successfully an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.
Other minor duties may beassigned.. Prepares accounts payable register and other relatedreports.
Prepares vendor invoices for payment daily.This process includes account distribution matching invoices toP.O. receiving tickets and obtaining proper approval.. Preparesbatches of invoices to be paid and enters data into accountspayable system for processing.
Prepares expense reportsfor payment processing and enters into accounts payable system..
Responds and researches vendor inquiries on status ofaccounts payable invoices. .
Enters additions to mastervendor file and performs maintenance on existing vendoraccounts.

IV.Qualifications

A. Education and ExperienceRequired:
Associates degree or equivalentexperience in Accounting or similar area of study and zero to threeyears previous experience.
Preferred: Bachelors Degreeor equivalent experience in Accounting or similar area of study andzero to three years previous experience.
B. Other Knowledge Skills or Abilities Required
General accounting office administration accountspayable and/or payroll knowledge required.
